Chichen Itza International Airport is located in the heart of the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Constructed in 2001 it bosts a 10,000 foot concrete runway, International arrivals and departures, and 24 hour IFR operations.

The famous Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza are only a few minutes via motor coach (16km or 10 miles). Most of the popular tourist destinations are within an hour and a half drive, making the airport a central hub for tourist activities.
